Theming and entertainment should go hand-in-hand. These days, there are fantastic entertainers for just about every theme you can think of! Some entertainers come in and run the entire party for you however, most come along for an hour or so, dressed in theme and with props in hand and perform and engage the kids with a brilliant line-up of interactive games and fun activities.

Tips and Tricks

• References: I highly recommend asking each of the entertainers you contact for a few references from their past party performances. Speaking to parents who have hired them previously will help put your mind at ease in the lead-up to your child’s party.
• Watch a performance: If your potential entertainer cannot provide you with any contact details of past clients, ask to attend one of their up-coming parties or ask for a demo of one of their performances.
• Demos: If you are not able to attend and preview a performance, ask for a DVD demo. Viewing this will enable you to get a good feel for the type of performer they are as well as how well your child is going to click with them.
